In recent years, the United States has seen a rise in anti-LGBTQ legislation at both the state and federal level. Since the beginning of 2021, over 250 anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced in state legislatures across the country, and this number has more than tripled since then. These bills seek to limit the rights of LGBTQ individuals in areas such as healthcare, education, and employment.
